My car failed the MOT. So looking at getting a replacement car. Anyone experienced a car leasing arrangements and whether its worth it or not?

Depends on your requirements (car type, mileage, options, term) and how much hassle free motoring is worth to you?

First of all, bookmark this

Secondly, yes it is worth it.
General aim is to find a car over 2 years which is less than 25% of rrp.
Lots of deals about, some which last weeks, others that last hours.
Quite a few people have had mega deals on cars such as new tiguans & passat alltrack which have come in at 17-19% of RRP. These are all generally based on 10k miles per year

My deal is £5600 for a new tiguan over 2 years. which is approx £4000 less than the depretiation over the same term.

Lots of deals also with no or little rental upfront.
i.e. 1 x 23
Which means 1 month upfront and then 23 months at X price.

or 3 x 23
Which is 3 months upfront and then 23 months at X price.

The main thing to do is factor in the total cost over the duration, including fees and any extra fees for excess mileage. most are 6p+vat

Another thing to keep in mind is that leasing sometimes involves a factory order. So you will need to source an in stock car if you need one fairly quickly as I imagine you do since your car failed its MOT.
