Seat Leon 2.0 TDI CR FR 181 BHP

£20 tax a year

Up to 78 MPG which is more likely 60-65 MPG.

2nd hand Fiesta ST?

Not sure if this qualifies for the chavvy look?

I do £15k a year in mine, and never get less than 37 to the gallon. Cheap servicing as well.

How about a Jaguar XFS? 3.0 diesel engine puts out 280bhp as standard but can be mapped to 340bhp and enough torque to tow a house.
Nice looking, reliable, extremely comfortable, 40mpg, nice handling and rapid.
My 3.0 XF is putting out 307bhp and does 0-100kph under six seconds and still pulling hard at very, very illegal speeds.
