Leasing: return car but keeping it insured until replacement
Discussion
Hi
I've got a current lease that is on casual extension until my new lease deal is delivered. I could probably survive and save a few pennies now by returning my current car until my new car arrives in the next few weeks.
Is there anything stopping me from maintaining my car insurance policy on my current lease car even if after it is returned to the lender? Once my new car arrives i'll transfer the policy
I don't want to cancel my policy and lose any no claims....
tl:dr Can I insure a car that I no longer have use of?

What could possibly go wrong with insuring a car that somebody else is using...?Oh, yes. This could.
