Dilemma, short trips but high miles
Discussion
First post in 6 years? Weird. Anyway... hello lol.
I have a mazda 3 2.0 sport what I have had for 4 1/2 years, it's a reliable car with only wear and tear stuff needed doing. However it's on130,000 miles and I fancy a change but I am a on the bandwagon of short journeys kill diesels, but I do run the car on long journeys on a weekend. I do average 16/17,000 a year and I do have shares in the petrol station but think lack of belts, turbos, DPF, DMF compensates. I need a car no smaller than the mazda, actually fancy something bigger because I throw the mtb in the back a lot.
So my question is stick with the larger petrol engines or change and go derv due to miles? Fanks!
