Export from UK to EU procedure

Hello, This is my first topic on this forum so, firs of all thank you for let me be part of the community!
I'm a private customer and I'm about to buy a brand new car in an authorised dealer in UK, but before I fly over, I'd like to be sure about the procedure. So please, that's why I request your knowledge.
My question is about three subjects: VAT, registration and insurance.
- As a private customer, can I pay the VAT there in UK? Will I have to pay again totally or just the difference to register the car in Spain?
- Here in Spain we have a temporary permit (60 days) for unregistered vehicles (green plate), which we request, for instance, when we want to register a car in another EU country and it has none registration here in Spain, so we can drive it to wherever country we want to go.
Can I do a similar registration, just temporary, to get this kind of plates to drive my new car to Spain?
- Can I also have a temporary insurance for that purpose?

PS: I've already used the search tool, but it's always about second hand cars and it is very different because the car has already a registration number and VAT and other taxes have different treatment.

Since we're still in the EU, VAT is paid at the point of sale, i.e the UK.Rony said:

I don't believe that transit plates are available in the UK.Can I do a similar registration, just temporary, to get this kind of plates to drive my new car to Spain?
