Help choose between these cars...

I'm currently trying to decide which car to go for once my finance deal is up with my current car...Been financing for a few years and just never had an attachment to any of the cars, not like when i was shedding.
I now want a comfortable, good looking, reliable car that i can take care of and enjoy owning, for less than 3k.
For various reasons, i've narrowed it down to a few cars, which may not be the best cars ever made, but tick a few boxes and each has some good qualities.
Any pro and cons for each would be appreciated and any other options that i may have missed.
1. Mk1 Audi TT 225
2. BMW 325ti Compact sport
3. Honda Accord estate or saloon 2.4 exec nav or 2.2 cdti sport
4. Honda accord coupe 3.0 v6
5. Audi A4 convertible
Would sometimes need 4 seats, so i know 1,2 & possibly 4 would be tight in that respect, but would only be very occasional use.

Rear passengers would be my kids (2 & 11). Wife learning to drive just now, so hopefully once passed and more confident we can get her a family wagon for the weans and all their assorted junk!
The car is really just for me, but i want something quite quick and something that wont give me sleepless nights with me thinking of it falling to pieces on the drive every night!
Audi TT- always liked the design, and reckon a good example will be a nice place to commute with a decent turn of pace in 225 guise.
BMW 325ti - supposed to be a really good handling car with a nice noise and decent amount of poke. Like the sport with upgraded nav system.
Honda Accord 2.4 exec-really liked my old '98 accord and fancy another automatic. 2.4 should be reasonably quick and honda reliability is a bonis. Think the estate is a really good looking car and could suit for tip runs as i seem to be always doing some sort of diy project...
Accord coupe- again, honda reliability and i think its an ageless car. can be had for peanuts, which worries me as i think it looks a lot more car than the price suggests.
Audi a4 convertible- late addition to the party after thinking ive never owned a convertible and remember a friend had a really nice audi 80 convertible a few years back, but feel they are a bit dated. would probably be looking for 3.0 or 2.5 V6.
Ive obviously only looked at the good points of each, are there any bad points or pitfalls to look out for on any of the cars?

I`ve got a hankering for another 2.4 Accord at some stage, I enjoyed my last one.

That was the first car i thought of, then stupidly started compiling a list!Amazing what you can get for £500! nice ones are fairly rare though and think i would probably pay about £1500 for a minted low mileage model...which is still a bargain.
Nice example with a private plate and not many people would know it was an almost 20 yr old car...could it qualify for classic insurance i wonder? Might be another bonus!

As much as the engine intrigues me, i really don't think the design has aged well (only released gen 7 accord type R in Japan) and does just look like an old honda...albeit a very fast one!Can you stretch to a Type-R Accord? Would be my first choice out of that lot if I've family to cart about.
