Recommend my mrs a new car

She cant decide what she wants, althought weve decided it does have to have the following:

• Look good / sporty
• Pretty quick - around 2-3L. maybe lower if turbo
• have at least 4 seats, pref 5
• Price is £3.5k cash
• Must be petrol. No diesel's

I own a focus ST mk2 and she loves it, although the running costs may be a bit high for her to own one herself.

She does around 10k miles per year. Has kids in the car quite alot of the time so cant be a 'small' car. Hatchback the size of a focus or bigger. She quite likes the old land rovers but most of them are big engines.

Anyone wanna throw some ideas my way?

Again I'm recommending a Audi A3 1.8 TFSI. Mines a 2009, 160bhp , above 30 to gallon. More reliable than the 2.0 TFSI.

Mercedes CLK320 good reliable cars as well as being a good looking IMO car
