Any feedback on buying used cars from Ash Motors Leeds?

Hi all

I'm interested in a car for sale at Ash Motors Ltd who are based in Leeds. Anyone got any experience of dealing with them - good or bad? Zeshan Ashraf is the director/point of contact.

Hi all, just following up on this. Just to say that I found Ash very helpful all through the process even though I did not eventually buy the car from him - I would have been happy to had things been different.

This dealer's just round the corner from where I live, didn't know it existed! Find their 21 5 star reviews and nothing else a bit suspicious though, no such thing as a perfect car dealer, surely?

Just googled ash motors to see if any other reviews were online so I could add mine and came across this thread.

I can't praise this garage enough ash (zeshan) is not just a dealer of cars he is a true petrol head like the everyone else on this forum and he will put him self out to try and help with any enquiries.

My dad just purchased a car from him and it was effortless, turned up without notice , we were shown the car and given the keys to have a proper look at the car at our pace. He was keen to take us out for a test drive unlike other dealers. My dad decided to buy the car and we were in and out within an hour or so. I was so impressed I have set him the task of finding me my next car and fingers crossed it will happen soon !

I personally wouldn't be so quick to judge without actually going round and having a chat with him I can fully see why he's got the good feedback elsewhere.

10 years on and they're still there and still 100% 5* reviews, which seems unusual but also reassuring I suppose. Reviews manipulation isn't uncommon but unless theyre gaming the system with Google to have anything remotely bad removed they seem to be doing OK and have some nice stock.

There's a car I'm considering viewing at the moment and while reading reviews I noticed this on good old PH so thought I'd bump in case anyone has more recent (honest) feedback

I sold him my 2019 G20 330d in 2020. Absolute gentleman. No messing about and I’ve followed him on instagram since. All his stock looks excellent. They do tend to put body kits and wheels on the cars I sell to make them more attractive which you either like or dislike.

I've lived in Leeds for nearly 20 years now and never heard of them before but then I looked at where they are located and it's very much pushing the boundary of being in Leeds at all.

That being said I guess if they have been around for 10 years they must be doing something right. Seem to have some nice cars listed on their website

Cheers, the car I'm looking at is standard but after doing some research is quite a lot more expensive than other newer facelifted ones currently on sale, I might go take a look anyway as they seem to have lots of interesting stock and it's just down the road.

Very much the same, I've been at the crossroads near there 4 times this week and 100s of times over the years and had no idea they existed a few streets away

The usual alarm bells that ring for me with any car dealer around here were loud but they seem to check out, if anything they check out so well on Google that it almost looks like history of fakery but none of the reviews show any of the usual signs, sometimes a 4.8 out of 5 average is easier for me to trust than a solid 5. Like you say, the fact they have been there this long with no name changes or any easily found horror stories says a lot.

I agree on the Leeds thing though,they're in Birstall with a WF postcode.
