Cars with removable/reconfigurable seats?

Not the most exciting of subjects, but having moved house relatively recently, and having a garden to attempt to maintain, it's something that I think is very handy for a practical car. Of our fleet:
- A2's 2 x rear seats fold up and come out individually
- mk2 Golf's rear seat requires two screws undone, and then lifts out
- Fabia mk1's squabs and base all lift out (not sure if they were meant to, manual didn't mention it, but tools were not needed)
Are there any estates where you can do this? (I'm sure most MPV's let you, but how about estates?)
Does the front passenger seat come out on on anything? Was it the mk1 Merc A class that let you do this?
Zafira rear most seats go under the floor.. do the middle ones come out? Fold completely flat?

Warning, very unusual recommendation approaching!
Mazda Bongo Friendee.
8 seats, 6 of which are removable easily. MASSIVELY configurable, seats rotate, fold down, fold back, etc, etc
Cheap as chips plus internally massive too. Sounds like it might be worth a look?

My Dad had one as a loaner whilst his van was being repaired, it made the Transit 2.5TDi look like a Polo BLuemotion!!

A mate has one but strangely never talks about the consumption...I should have known. Sounds like the internal flexibility would suit your needs for your 'interests' though...
Although in fairness, there is no stipulation to economy in the OP
We have a Grand Picasso and all the seats apart from the 2 front ones, fold away completely flat. The middle seats can also be slid front and backwards to allow more leg space/more boot space and also the middle seats have baskrest adjustment. Only thing I do miss, is that on the larger C8 and 807, the front passenger seats, swivel round 180 degrees to face towards the rear.

Dodge grand caravan- seats 7 and each rear seat folds flat in the floor with ease. You can go from 7 seat minibus to full on work van in a minute and back again when needed. The rear load space is huge. I bet you can get 4 mattresses in the back with the seats down

Assuming OP is in the UK, I suppose that Chrysler Grand Voyager is about the very best in terms of sheer practicality. In my experience they are unsurpassed in this capacity.But, crucially for Pistonheads it doesn't handle like a Lamborghini and therefore must be s
t in every way. thanks for the replies, wld want something that can do 30+ mpg..and only to spend a couple of grand-ish, so rules out the big beasts i'd imagine, and to be fair i don't need something that big often.
must look in the back of a zafira, prob the sensible option, 2.2 might be quite fun (relatively), one near me up for 900 quid with 100k on it!
edit: also a vr6 sharan auto with 50k under a grand, loved that engine in my golf..but suspect wouldn't do 30mpg on run..
no clever seat estate cars out there then?

We have a 1.8 Zafira 'Comfort' it's not bad actually the body roll is epic but it never seems to let go, I have taken some big liberties in it and the 123bhp 1.8 isn't bad. Do not by the 1.6 it struggles to pull itself along, the one I drove didn't really enjoy doing more than 50mph...must look in the back of a zafira, prob the sensible option, 2.2 might be quite fun (relatively), one near me up for 900 quid with 100k on it!
2nd generation toyota previa 2000-2006 have had all the back seats out of my dads it ends with a flat floor and you can use the seat mounting points as tie down points got lots of grunt 2.4 petrol they also did a diesel there were also a limited number of hybrids imported by specialists
