bloody hell, where do people find such bargains?

I spent 3 times that much on a tidy albeit old diesel skoda in an attempt to be sensible, but within a month of acquiring it, it now wants £2500 of repairs.

If I was in the game for that kind of repair cost I could have bought all manner of more interesting things rather than a stty old skoda.

Lovely car. A bit dear though, but years left in it.

XFR in the same colour as 0a's. Black wheels would have to be changed. Where will it end? Currently at top thread

I thought that was a wrap until I scanned through the other photos, contrast/colour editing of a few photos?

Likewise, I immediately assumed it was a wrap based on the cover photo, but the colour does look more subdued in other photos.

gorgeous colour, but it sounds like the car could do with a little bit of TLC

When I read the list of faults not fixed before advertising it, my bargepole apeared as if by magic.
Why wouldn't you at least fix the easy ones?

Sounds like a bit of a dog doesn't it.

"Key fob battery replacement - Should be an easy fix, just haven't got round to it"

Utter bullst, the key is obviously knackered. The sellers lack of honesty is a turn off, the winters on the rear and mismatched premiums on the front is a bit weird, I'm sure there are other issues to be revealed, and I think £5.5k is already too much for this car anyway.

I also gather these can be quite exciting if the eDiff isn't working, it contributed enormously to the stability of the car and is an integral component of the stability control system so that's not a "fk it, I'll ignore it" fault.

If anyone does buy it I can help you code out the TPMS system to make the error message go away though hehe

AC could be the condenser but the variable compressors have a valve that fails and it's a compressor off job to fix with a £130 kit (or chuck in a new Nissens compressor for £285 as my XKR is about to receive) so that needs a £300 - £600 budget, or maybe more if it needs both like my car has.

Lifting dashboard leather is very difficult to impossible to properly fix, the only real fix is a dash from a car that doesn't have it.

ETA- and as always the black wheels and black bits of trim make it look as council as fk.

Yeah it ranks up there with "abs light is on, jus a £5 sensor replacement but I have not got time", and the all time classic "EML is on because of faulty lambda probe, £15 fix"

Probably cheap! These are not worth very much and struggle to find a market. I like the black interior on that one. Mine did the tyre pressure thing yesterday after not doing it for ages.

I like the ‘Supercharged’ detail on the bonnet vents.

deadtom; mixture of the six p's, plus plenty of research and moving fast. If i get a year out of it, i'll be happy and i'll keep my eyes peeled for the next bargain. I've always had new cars, so it will be refreshing to not be so precious over it.

Shame as the colour is just stunning!

Even got the non-working A/C that "just needs a regas" - more likely a condensor if the compressor is working. rolleyes

I followed an XKR convertible in Kyanite blue with a dark blue roof last week, it looked absolutely amazing.
