1. You will be charged pro-rata, so will probably get invoice for excess miles.
2. Depends on the founder. Some refund pro-rata.
You still have to contact finance company to get correct answers from them.

Have you decided to return your EQC?

Yes, the car is unreliable, and it’s good to terminate for more disposable income as I’m in the market for a mortgage. I’m planning to go back to ICE and have put down an enquiry on a Volvo V90 which should do me ok for a while. The insurance on the EQC was also too much to bear at over £5k. Never mind on the excess mileage then. I’ll be able to clear the excess payment , so oh well. It would have happened regardless.

Lease co says excess mileage is charged if the mileage is more than 13,185 miles (this month) at 27.08p. My mileage is 10000 miles a year. Weird!
The car has 9200 miles. I should be ok then?

That is weird, but you must be ok anyway. They can't possibly charge you for miles you haven't done, surely?

I suspect I'm far too late but you don't have a link do you? I had a look but no joy.

Thanks

The listing no longer exists. He did mention it needed to be signed off before the end of Q2 (End of June), hence why it’s probably no longer there.
You could always call and ask. I’ve found Simon to be very helpful there.

Leasing options have those terms at £281pcm.
Had email this morning.

https://www.leasingoptions.co.uk/car-leasing/volks...

Also contract cars @ £278 for 10om per annum. However they have a £360 broker fee.

Looks
Like they’re all
Pre reg too.

Have just ordered a C5 aircross plug in hybrid from S.elect,
They have a batch registered on 30th June, for immediate delivery.

Went for 3+35 10000 miles p.a. at £309, but it also works out well on other terms.

I’ve been dealing with Natasa there who’s been really helpful natasahole@selectcarleasing.co.uk

As a heads up, I've been waiting on a Peugeot 3008 from them too, ordered in April for May delivery from stock. Currently been pushed back to end of August due to recall work being done. That's the fourth time it's been delayed. I only mention it because Citroens will be coming from Stellantis too.

On the plus side, I would have preferred this deal anyway (just sent a C5 back off lease) so I've switched my order over for a similar delivery date. Thanks for the heads up.

Have new build and delivery confirmed bounce for new reg in September for

X3M Competition, Carbon Black/ black, funky callipers, black wheels,
12 +23 £446 a month plus VAT
£150 plus VAT admin fee.

Select UK Leasing and a very helpful chap at Vines BMW in Redhill. All went smoothly.

I wont be mapping it to 630HP/ 780 NM as it's a lease car and I'm not allowed to...bandit

5000 miles a year is low - agreed, deposit is big - agreed but it's a £95,000 list M3 ish smaller SUV that's easy to get in and out for £446 a month and suits me sir. M3 estate too low and small now at my age

My 3rd Pistonheads lease deal, 1st Golf R £199 + VAT a month in 2014, Audi A6 Allroad £315 + VAT 2016

THANK YOU TO OP ON THIS DEAL - WHEREVER YOU ARE.

Its not clear if this is an automatic or manual (both have same engines). The ad mentions 'Family Size Auto SUV' but go on their website and its only the manual version available at this price :-(

UPDATE - emailed Scott and he confirmed these cars are manual only!

The Peugeot recalls have been a disgrace from stellantis. The C5 are physical on site with a dealer so at least you’ll get sorted fairly sharply on that 👍

Appreciate this is a very subjective question, but I’m brand new to leasing (have always paid outright for second hand cars) and there are lots of sites to choose from.

What would you say is the best deal right now for under £225 a month, with 12 months up front? When I say best, I mean most bang for your buck!

Any advice would be appreciated!

Probably the Polo GTI deal that's floating around.

Go and have a look at lease loco site, who apply their own score rating to all deals, and sort by highest rating for an idea.

If you man 'bangs' as in performance - the Polo GTi, yes. If you mean best value for money I would say the Vauxhall Grandland - although beware its manual only, apart from that a stonking deal.
