Correct choice - I'm sure you'll love it.

Pics please when it arrives!

An ISF went past me last night, must have been foot to the floor job and the noise was excellent. Love the looks of them too!!

Downside for me is the interior, think its quite dated but still well built.

IS-F. Perhaps its simply because it's rare, but it appears more special.

Good choice.

Perhaps I missed it, but what year and colour etc?
It's a 58plate obsidian black with black leather with contrasting blue stitching smile

I do think one of the reasons I like it is I've never seen another isf on the road! 230 taxed in the UK and close to 5k for the m3 and rs4 each so quite a lot rarer!

Pic's when I pic it up a must smile

Correct choice. Decision made on the same grounds as me, you will not be disappointed.

Where do you live? I have only seen two in the flesh in the last 2 years and one was in a showroom

Well so far so good with the isf.

Not done to much driving but I'm very impressed with the gearbox and fuel economy for a 5L V8!! So far it's at 24.8mpg but I've not really had much chance to thrash it smile ha..

Sound system is superb and radar cruise is awesome.

Looks lovely. I fancy either an M3/C63/IS-F next - I must have a V8.

OP - what are your thoughts on the tailpipes? It's the one thing I'd be looking to change if I did get an IS-F. But, I understand they are purely cosmetic and built into the rear bumper, so you'd have to probably change the rear bumper or get clever with a Dremel!

Great choice and the correct one too smile

I agree about the false tail trim. Certainly something to consider.

Very nice.

An understated car.

Seen a few up here in the deen, usually silver oddly.

Did see a black RS4 avant with aftermarket pipes on, could here it for ages through town, but there are dozens of them.

Hope you enjoy it smile

I see about four RS4s a week. I see an IS-F about once every three months.

I think they're misunderstood. OP, you've already realised you may be on to something here. Go with your gut feel and buy the Lexus and learn to get the best out of it. When you do, you'll not be thinking about an RS4.
^^This. Nail. Head.

OP - A friend of mine was in a similar position a couple of years ago and he was seriously contemplating the IS-F but he went for the RS4 in the end. He maintains that the main reason he chose it over the IS-F that day was because he preferred how it drove but I remember him saying at the time that it was mainly because, "it's an Audi...", whatever that means. I think, for him anyway, it was a 'safe' choice, if there is such a thing when considering a 400+ hp V8. He constantly bemoans seeing RS4s on the road and, as a result, the IS-F comes up in conversation fairly regularly. I sense that he's a tad regretful, not because he has an RS4 but because he never went with his initial gut.

Fantastic car OP, enjoy!
