That's great. Looks to be a great example for minimal coin.

Are you telling me that's not some expertly formed walnut veneer?

Maybe an extra two if it's as good as it looks.

It being Friday I am diverting.

Porsche owners, what gives? It's like barge levels of masochism but on steroids.

Here's a 911 targa. We've fixed the roof but like fk are we warranting it. Also the front end got changed which defo wasn't an unrecorded accident, but it still needs painting.

Saw it on Porsche club GB classifieds.

The seller wss a nice chap who just wanted to move it on as it reminded of him of his wife who had recently died during Covid. He tells me he was inundated with enquiries. I guess I was just quick out of the blocks!

Car is lovely. The main issue is that I don’t really fit in it because I am too tall. Might need to make some seat mods but if I can’t get comfy and have to move it on, should be able to get my money back fairly easily
I haven’t been keeping up with the thread more recently, but I seem to recall that ATM has been on a constant mission of eeeking out more legroom from his Boxster.

I remember being the passenger in an MG Midget, a shoe horning myself into an Elise. Never again.

A Merc CL will be the closest to 2doors I’ll ever venture.

Nope. That has too much of a cartoon bug eye appearance for me, he says playing the ‘broad church and all that’ card.

I know next to nothing about Boxsters but are they not reliable then? I assumed they'd be fairly sorted.

Almost every one that comes through BCA from a trade in or WBAC is smoking, knocking, both, or seized. Loads and loads of serious engine problems and often at modest mileages.

I really want one and they're cheap but I think they need to be "walk away" money from what I've seen.

Deposit placed... it'll be with me tomorrow....

Lowly Classic SE trim C200 CDI in Titanite Red with the OM646 2.1 diesel in 122bhp flavour and 5 speed auto 'box. Bought for tip runs and a bit of light towing.

Very little rust to be seen.
