Nice but too strong a colour for me. Good interior and the overall condition is in keeping w the miles. Not to say time and rust won’t have taken their toll on the bits you can’t see.

This seems more thread and 4.2 SC too

My car has ionisers, I think they perform a similar function.
Is yours like mine with the little lights above your head? Or do I have the pleb version? laugh
Two switches on the centre console and then two grilles in the step up in the roof lining, either side of the green digital clock.

There is some sort of ionising action that happens automatically in my LC500; the handbook says that you might occasionally smell sea air but I've never noticed it.

My LS460 has an ion generator, you switch it on and off in the climate control menus.

What I don't know is if it has an ion generator for each air conditioning system, or if it only operates on one of them.

Six filters for cabin air (one for each of the front and rear air conditioning systems, plus four seat air filters). Do any cars have more?

Mine is automatic in the roof infront of the main interior light and the LED will either be green or blue depending on whether it's ionising or not and there's a manual override switch. My green digital clock is somewhat dwarfed by the touchscreen frown

I wonder what the market is for an £11k 100k miler 5.0 15yo behemoth with the vilest interior I’ve seen, shall we start a book on how long that’s for sale for ?

You lot really know how to micturate all over a fella's chips , with your in built ionisers....there was me thinking I was the big boy with my new ozone generator box.

I am tempted to use it on my mushroom gold 129 although given the eco friendly electrics-not sure if I might end up with a a dead car

Surely that wasn’t spec’d like that from the factory? If so, JLR need to get a grip!

Thanks

I think the dealer has done it themselves to show how colourblind clever they are.

The ad does say newly installed. The only thing that came to my mind was it some company’s colour scheme and it was promotional in a short sighted way.
I’ve read the blurb o nmy phone which displays differently to the desktop, they are definitely spaffing the most BS I’ve read in a while.
“ This is an extremely opulent, unique L322 influenced by the stillborn L405 SV Coupe interior with different coloured 'zones' in the interior. Land Rover ran with the idea again with the current L460 generation Range Rover SV, in which a dual zone interior can be optioned at monumental expense.”

I could rewrite that for them -
This is an extremely unique L322 we have ruined for you and made impossible to sell on”

I used to see it pootling around, what an odd collaboration that was!
