Just note these prices are for the "S", not "R" as before.
The MPG equivalent for the base model (just under 14 according to the review I watched) is bad enough, can only imagione how bad the S is. It's the only thing that has stopped me ordering one today. ridiculous real world range for such a big battery and new tech.I test drove the S and the R. It was summer weather, but based on the 30 miles or so I did- which was mixed with some heavy right foot, I worked out the R to about 220 and the S to about 290

I can't post youtube links from a work pc but it was a review from a channel called Harry's Garage. Nice impartial review but the range has really put me off. Hoping he's wrong!
TBH it’s applies to any EV. If you drive it like a boy racer (Pistonheads member!) you won’t get good range. The same was said over and again about my I’d.Buzz but in the 6 months I’ve had it I’ve averaged the stated range whilst driving conservatively oscipop said:

It was when he mentioned that compared to the Taycan and Mercedes models the range is nowhere near as good.
If you do loads of really long journeys it might be a problem but if you just plug in every evening as a matter of course and can get 7.5p kw rate then I really don’t see an issue. At the end of the day it’s a fantastic deal for an awesome suv. If I could get one I would and deal with lightly less range than you’d like. It is a very big heavy car fast car so not sure what people expect from an EV. You can’t have it all. Just get one It's a real shame the Eletre is so big as I'd feel genuinely guilty driving one around given the sheer bulk of it and the fact that, despite being a family of four, we just don't need something that size.
Yes, I know we shouldn't care what people think and to just "buy the deal" but I can't be the only one that thinks, given Lotus' heritage of small and light, that the Eletre would have been better as X3/Q5/GLC sized rather than X7/Q7/GLS sized.

totally agree with that but it is very hard to ignore at this price pointYes, I know we shouldn't care what people think and to just "buy the deal" but I can't be the only one that thinks, given Lotus' heritage of small and light, that the Eletre would have been better as X3/Q5/GLC sized rather than X7/Q7/GLS sized.

The Eletre wasn’t even on my radar and ideally I was looking for a 7 Seater, but this at the price point is just too difficult to turn down! brilliant deal - the leasing cost is less than the annual depreciation on my 128ti but it's enormous and I am struggling to see it fitting in with my life style ..some other guys were looking at it at the same time and one was switching from a Range Rover so he would have been used to the size

need to quickly put in the orders as ive been told by 2 brokers that this is only running till friday. given the amount of people who are likely to want one, i suspect the underwriting queues will be really long.
btw- the excess milage is about 57ppm
Blimey that ppm increase is crazy. Defo makes sense to up the milage to 8k then as that only bumps the monthly's up by £52btw- the excess milage is about 57ppm
From what I can see central vehicle leasing are the cheapest by far on the S model

Anyone going for a cost option on the colour?
I do like the yellow Lotus logo on the standard grey, but also something about the yellow bodywork which looks suited to the car.
I've gone for the grey. I would have liked the black or the yellow but it's too much just for a colour change when the deal is this good. I do like the yellow Lotus logo on the standard grey, but also something about the yellow bodywork which looks suited to the car.

I’ve seen a few now and it doesn’t look that big in my view, it’s size is well disguised with its design. I don’t see how it needs justifying either, if the price is right, which for me it isn’t I would take it as a single guy, you could easily with a family of that size 😂Yes, I know we shouldn't care what people think and to just "buy the deal" but I can't be the only one that thinks, given Lotus' heritage of small and light, that the Eletre would have been better as X3/Q5/GLC sized rather than X7/Q7/GLS sized.
