Sorry to moan but can people please post or share the details of where they are finding deals? It’s literally pointless just posting numbers
Apologies, was doing 2 things at once & forgot to add contact details.

It’s from vantage leasing.

Try your luck - he has just come back to me with approval on finance just need to send him Exterior and Interior choices. In terms of size having compared dimensions to the RR, XC90 and and the previous 2020 Q7 I had there isnt much in it. The X7 is slightly bigger in all aspects compared to the Q7 and the XC90. Marginal differences with the RR
Order place and accepted my return to the forum was short lived. Funnily, i havent paid an admin fee so i will keep my eye out and if there is something that is a better deal then may jump to that.

Your local dealer may be able to save you on fees as I understand all PCH goes via Smart themselves and their preferred funder. This may have changed as they seem to change what they're doing more often than the wind changes

Range Rover Spowatahh lease which doesn’t seem too bad for a business user with 5% BIK (6+35, 10kmpa):

Charging away from home can cost at least 7x (yes seven times) more than home charging.
4000 miles at 3.3 miles per Kwh = 1200 Kwh. Charging from public would cost you about £600. Charging from home about £84 (per year).
A charger from Octopus at the moment cost under £1000 inc installation.
Then there's the opportunity cost of having to go to the supermarket, then leaving your car there, checking whether the chargers are working, are available etc.
IMHO, too much hassle.
Thanks, will bite the bullet on a home charger then.
Don’t be too hasty. If you only do 80 miles a week just charge from a regular plug socket. If you get octopus ev tariff and just plug in for 6 hours per night then that would give you around 40 miles per night of range. When you do a long trip occasionally then either plan ahead and charge each night or do a fast charge at a station. Lots of people get away with using a 3 pin plug it’s not that much hassle
My main consumer box is in the middle of the house along way from where I would want to charge it so looks like it will be a real pain to fit so I'm considering granny charger initially, as the Astra deal looks good. With the granny charger I have a plug socket in my garage so could plug it in there and run the cable to the car from the garage, is it ok to use a standard plug socket if its covered in the garage or do I need some upgrading on the plug socket ?

thanks

I've charged using my outside 13A socket since getting my EV in March. Most of them (mine states it on the lead), maximum draw is 10A. Allowing a bit of heat losses, you'll get about 2.1kW per hour into the car.

I've done over 2000 miles and only had to use public chargers twice because the round trip of 270 miles was beyond the range of a Honda eNy1. To my pleasant surprise, I used a fast charger (50kW) in King's Lynn in the afternoon at 54p / kWh. smile As long as it is in good condition, you should be fine with a standard 3 pin plug, a 3 bar electric fire draws more or less the same, if not more and they used to be just plugged in all over the place.

Have you test driven one? I've seen them but haven't been able to take one out. conscious about some of the negativity abeat cheap chinese parts but at this price I'm not sure I care and might just take a punt

Incredible deals. I sat in one at the London showroom and it feels like a proper super car, surprised at the price point.
