No I went for the S. I drove both and the R is amazing- but having lived with a EQC for 3 years, I’m done with EVs with a 200 mile range.
The S is plenty fast and semi sensible.
Man getting old sucks
What term did you go for? Due to the high deposit cost, i think I’d be settling for 3 years. The S is plenty fast and semi sensible.

Added the roof and paint, which sadly you full pay across the term, no residual on options.
Still very happy

Charging away from home can cost at least 7x (yes seven times) more than home charging.
4000 miles at 3.3 miles per Kwh = 1200 Kwh. Charging from public would cost you about £600. Charging from home about £84 (per year).
A charger from Octopus at the moment cost under £1000 inc installation.
Then there's the opportunity cost of having to go to the supermarket, then leaving your car there, checking whether the chargers are working, are available etc.
IMHO, too much hassle.
Thanks, will bite the bullet on a home charger then.4000 miles at 3.3 miles per Kwh = 1200 Kwh. Charging from public would cost you about £600. Charging from home about £84 (per year).

Or a 32amp commando socket and an Amazon smart charger for a fraction of the cost, thats whats been charging my hateful turd of a Maxus T90 ( Yes the cheap deal and not worth a penny more than the £107), for the last 6 months. Not a single issue.
LOL 😂 is it really that awful?oscipop said:

No, I think mines great. If I have a chance of buying at the right price I will.
There is a guy local to me who got one of the Maxus pickup deals.I see it from time to time in the supermarket car park and decided to approach him about it.
He’s paying £119 for his and absolutely loves it and intends to extend the lease for as long as he can.

£12093.30 for a 2 year 5K deal preregistered with 2 tone paint.
£503.83 amortised.
Slightly more expensive than previous deals but not bad.
Does anyone have one on 21 inch wheels? Is it a bit harsh over bumps?

Don’t be too hasty. If you only do 80 miles a week just charge from a regular plug socket. If you get octopus ev tariff and just plug in for 6 hours per night then that would give you around 40 miles per night of range. When you do a long trip occasionally then either plan ahead and charge each night or do a fast charge at a station. Lots of people get away with using a 3 pin plug it’s not that much hassle
I disagree. First you'd need to get a proper outside socket for that. Unless you're a sparky yourself, that will cost you a few quid. Then depending on your car, it may or may not be compatible with IOG. Octopus must be able to control your car in order to get the cheap tariff. My Ariya isn't but the charger is. So it means that regardless of the car I lease in the future, it will be IOG-compliant. IOG is 7.5p/kwh and Octopus can trigger this at any time during the day outside the set 2330-0530 window.Pistonheadsdicoverer said:

That is the best deal I’ve seen since the pre-Xmas mega deal. The two tone paint is included which is a very expensive option. Only thing that’s missing, as far as I’m aware, for me is the base board in the boot which makes a level sleeping area if that’s important to you . Not sure if that is standard now but wasn’t at launch£12093.30 for a 2 year 5K deal preregistered with 2 tone paint.

The difference in charging cost per month (7.5p v 9p a kWh) would be around £1.30 so hardly worth all of the bother and potential cost of getting any sort of work done if you have easy access to a standard plug socket?
