That’s £230 a month, not a bad deal really? Not as good as say the en:y1 but fairly decent for a small runaround suv.

I’m waiting for the next en:y1 type unmissable deal for ~£200pm. Will then sell my 2018 civic as at £2k per year it’ll make sense to.
Drove past lexus today, a hell of a lot of new Lexus LBX sat there… I could see that being a decent deal soon as per most EV’s.

There was a deal that came through today from Applied Leasing for the Skoda Kamiq, storming headline figure of £68 per month inc. VAT. When I contacted them the upfront was £3600. Total for 2 years at 5000 miles was £5524 including their £360 charge so not as good as I'd hoped!
True, not horrendous! We have a 15 year old Golf that I'm looking to replace, just gets used by our nanny to ferry the boys around to school and clubs so happy to hold out for the next unmissable deal

They may ‘try it on’ with a further inspection once it gets back to the depot. Had this recently when I returned a car, and just quoted their collection report showing no issues, and they backed down.
Who was the finance company ?
Company car via Novuna. It was the collection company that attempted to bill me though. Can’t remember who they were, but it was one of the bigger companies. Mannheim?

Mannheim are a nightmare, rude collection drivers and just a general nastiness about them.. Novuna customer service not much better. Told a leasing company last year if they were the funder I’m not going ahead.

Had no end of trouble with them both commercially and private.

I had company lease cars for years and it was only when I became a division manager and started to see numbers that I saw these end-of-lease charges were very much routine and paid without question.

My brother worked for a company where he was asked to agree a £700 charge on his car - he got the report and it was totally trumped up. His firm still paid it.

So I suppose these inspection guys are still acting in the same way with PCH and are probably surprised at the complaints.

That sounds like it could be the next PPI-type scandal if proven to be true.

Nightmare is a huge understatement....They tried to sting me for many hundreds of pounds of fraudulent 'damage' on a Citroen lease that we had for 12 months and covered 4k miles in. It was immaculate, yet they still found reems of paintwork issues, including a suggestion that that car had been in a serious accident, had been repaired poorly and needed a full respray. It hadn't suffered so much as a parking ding. Needless to say it had to be escalated to the Financial Ombudsman for them to back down.

May I suggest that if your collection agent is going to Mannheim, stand outside with them whilst they do your inspection, with a copy of the BRVLA booklet in your hand and actively question everything they find. If you don't agree with anything, take your own photos and DO NOT sign the ipad to say you are in agreement.

As mentioned above, I have also heard these guys are on kick back on the "damage" they find and you need to make very obvious your not going to be welcoming any of their BS games.

Is there a general consensus on maintenance packages? Got a SEAT Ibiza DSG due in august on a 24 month, 8000 mile lease. Maintenance add on is £23.32 per month. Any tips or help would be appreciated!

You are unlikely to need any tyres, so all you are saving is the cost of 1, maybe 2, services. £23 per month is about £700 depending on your payment profile.

Tyres included on this one, it seems like a pretty standard product through Nationwide Vehicle Contracts? £23 is pretty steep for an Ibiza in comparison to your A4. Think I may give SEAT a bell in the morning and see what they can offer, as suggested above.

Bloody cracking deal this one (assuming you can live with an electric van).

Nissan Townstar L1 Electric 90KW Acenta Van Auto 45KWH

That's £191.56 including VAT

Thanks for posting this.

I just signed today. 1 + 17 ,8000 miles per annum. 10p excess mile charge.
£154 a month plus VAT
£225 fee.

Run through my buisness, no BIK tax, no car tax. Effectively 80 quid a month out of my take home pay.
Won't need a service or tyres. Range works in our case.

Cheaper than bangernomics. If a electric van works for you (It does fine for us a second runaround, and the van bit will be usefull too.)
