Best Lease Car Deals Available? (Vol 10)

Anyone seen any decent deals on a RRS on PCP?
JLR currently have 5k off on their website and a couple of dealers have said they will add another 2.5k which reduces monthly payments quite a bit, though I get the impression that they are open to more negotiation. . . . That said I’ve never really haggled for a car deal much before.
Any tips of suggestions? Or anyone had a good deal?
Check insurance, you may be very unpleasantly surprised.JLR currently have 5k off on their website and a couple of dealers have said they will add another 2.5k which reduces monthly payments quite a bit, though I get the impression that they are open to more negotiation. . . . Ariya deals gone up by around £25 so well done to all that went ahead, myself included! Good deal for a £51k car, coming at 19%. Now on the look out for a 7 seater having returned my disco sport. Surprising I serviced it once in 5 years, didnt even change tyres, scratches on bodywork, few curbed alloys, only did around 25k miles but not a penny charged! Definitely helps when they inspect in rain.
Not the best value by a long way, but this or the X7 that was flying around might tick the box
Are there any other disadvantages to going over the mileage limit and paying the excess mileage charge?
I did the maths and calculated that for one of the lease deals I am looking at, it costs about the same to go for 10k miles as to go for 5k miles and pay the excess mileage charge. it is unlikely i would do the full 10k miles each year, so it would therefore be more sensible to choose 5k miles, and just pay the extra amount.
Are there any other penalties for going over the mileage limit, such as (just an example!) the broker being unwilling to take you on for another lease contract?

Theres no penalty, just excess mileage charge PPM. Sometimes its better to take 5k miles and pay excess if it works out betterI did the maths and calculated that for one of the lease deals I am looking at, it costs about the same to go for 10k miles as to go for 5k miles and pay the excess mileage charge. it is unlikely i would do the full 10k miles each year, so it would therefore be more sensible to choose 5k miles, and just pay the extra amount.

Just make sure excess mile charge is not tiered, some companies do this, however not the popular ones.
I always calculate the best option and if it's the same cost and I'm not sure how many miles I will do, I take lower limit and pay extra at the end.
My friend had Skoda leased with 3.6p excess charge and saved £300 by going for 5k miles instead of prepaid 10K miles per annum.

Currently struggling to decide which car is next…
Audi A4 S-Line 35 or VW Tiguan R-Line (new model). Both within £10 of each other so price isn’t a factor.
Looked at the VW this weekend and some of the interior trims felt cheap. Audi interior quality is overall better & imagine it will be a better drive. However the tech in the VW is better & new A4/A5 due later this year… thoughts?

Is VAG Infotainment fixed now or still riddled with problems? Might be one of the things to check and make sure you won't be unhappy about constant software updates and need to visit dealer. I leaned my lesson and not touching and brand new models without physical buttons. But it's all about personal preferences.

Personally, I would go for the Audi. I will be getting my third Audi A4 S-Line in September. This time the 40 TFSI instead of 35. Really love Audi cars, well made, reliable and nice to drive. I did lease a VW Scirocco in 2018 for 2 years and it was nice but much prefer Audi.Audi A4 S-Line 35 or VW Tiguan R-Line (new model). Both within £10 of each other so price isn’t a factor.

I'm seriously considering an a4 - not had one before as chose 5 series over one back in 2014 - coming out of a Golf R and can't justify costs for a new one (and the bugs). Question for you as dithering - Tech pack or not? S-line always used to come with uprated audio - seems no longer?Cheers

I work from home these days so my car doesn’t go out much. I couldn’t justify paying extra for an upgraded tech pack but definitely worth doing if you spend a lot of time driving. Cheers
