My passenger seat is now available for Le Mans.
Full package includes.....
- Riding shotgun in the SEAC
- Ferry from Portsmouth
- Convoy through France with 18 other Tivs
- Camping in Maison Blanche with 35 other TVRs from Bristol, Devon, Cornwall and Surrey + TVR Monkeee!
- Tent, BBQ, etc, all provided
- Entrance and Maison Blanche grandstand tickets
- Friday Coach

Believe it or not - I'm having trouble finding someone who is available and I would trust to ride shotgun.

Hence I'm thinking of going totally the other way and opening the door wide open....

If I offer it up on EBay then hopefully someone petrolhead will go for it and it'll be just fine.
If I make a profit on it then I'll donate the difference to charity.

Thoughts please

Perhaps it would be better to get the car on a low loader than have a total stranger drive it!

I guess if you've exhausted family, friends, the TVRCC and PH members then ebay is your best bet if you really dont want to drive down alone.

If you do end up going alone though get a walkie talkie. Mine have a hands free port.

Or just wait for Le Plod to go, and get back behind the wheel?

Id consider it. But I suspect that Le Plod are wise to it.
If you were in a convoy you could always get another passenger you know to drive it for you.

Id recommend a new thread with a catchy title in both TVR general and Le Mans forums.

LM forum is still a little slow. Give it a couple of weeks and it will be top site on the net!

Hi there,

I was kindly referred to this posting by DustyC, and I'm interested to hear more. I travelled with the London TVR Club (Steve Barber) to Le Mans a few years ago. A crazy, but definately repeatable experience!

I have a posting from "the other side of the coin" - www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=100389&f=13&h=0

Could you give me a call, thanks, on 07799068598, so we can discuss further.

Cheers, Michael.
