Les toiletes a la Houxe Annexe

I've been to LM for the past 7 years camping at Houx, at the airport and at various Airtrack VIP campsites.

This year I'm on Houx Annexe (the first year I went was when Annexe flooded!).

One of our party is a bit delicate and worries about the toilets on Annexe. (17 stone of delicate-ness!!)

Does Annexe have proper sit-down dungies? What about the showers - any chance of hot water?

affirmative to the sit down jobs and the showers, but they are both pretty basic. remember its le Mans not the Ritz.

Considering he's such a big, loud bloke he can be a bit precious. He was reluctant to change to Annexe from Airtrack's VIP because of the toilets - even though we saved about 500 quid on our trip.

i'm in houx annex again this year, say hello if you see/hear us.
the annex is certainly one of the loudest sites at the race and a few days discomfort is a small sacrifice as an "unwashed", just adds to the occasion.

You could take your own toilet We do most years although you (or your mate) will have to clean it.

We camped in Houx Annexe in 2002, there were portaloo blocks in there with proper sit-down loos (don't forget your supply of bog roll). I think a shower was there too but the queues were v.long so I snuck over to the showers in Houx.

Stayed in Houx An' last year the toilets and showers nearest to us were fine. Hot water etc Also someone was literally cleaning them constantly day and night.
Unless exceptionally precious they will be fine.
