4 weeks today and I am off to LM

Well it is getting close, 4 weeks today on the late ferry from Portsmouth. 1 996 Cab 1 M3 Evo Cab and people carrier. Staying at Karting nord for the week. Started to get a check list together and yesterday after watching the LM series on Motors TV I went out and put the tent up to make sure that I had all the bits and did not leave any at LM last year. Have gone up market this year and even brought a generator for the fridge, the bags of ice for the beer last year was just not good enough to keep the beer cold right thought he night. Might even take some fairy light to get the proper party feel. So if you see a bright green (ocean jade) 996 cab and some stupid fairy lights come on over and have a beer, mind you we might not be able to hear you from the noise the geny makes!!!!

Role on the next four weeks, and for those of you out there that think that the Monday nights ferry is a little early then we are planning spending 2 days on the west coast as well.

I have a package to collect from the Post Office too .. getting excited now ... 3 weeks to run the TVR's new engine and heads in properly before the race .....

unless a late deal can be found i'm almost certainly sitting this one out... its not fair!

strange thing is i'm off to buy some new tyres tommorrow... which means they've lasted approximately 49 weeks as i bought the last set about a week before LM!!!

I'm in Karting nord too. Will look out for the lights. I will be in my silver 996 with gt3 kit. Also in my group are a blue boxster, yellow elise, a golf and a van. It'll be sporting some PH stickers and i'll be sure to blip the throttle on arrival to get the sports exhaust singing. You will probably hear it over the gennie

There are handfuls of tickets being exchanged right now, so if you want to go there is still time!
