Hi Guys,
Thanks for all your support, and the vote of confidence, after a couple of days to think about it,
we now know what it takes to race against the best car's in the world, when you look at what we spent and what some ngt teams are spending 2mill$ Porsche and the Corvette team 9mil$. We don’t need that sort of money all we need now is everybody to get behind the project from sponsors to supporters and drivers that will help us compete against the top teams.

What it needs now is sponsorship and anybody can help us from blue chips to any British companies or personal investors who want to see a British car with a British Team take on the best, and beat them, I now feel sure we can do that, so Guys if you want to see it succeed every body can help, I want to hear your suggestions on how to raise help the funds to make us a top team who can compete against the likes of Alex job, frisinger and jmb.

we have the best supporters and I know the team can do it, would you like to see it happen, whatever your idea on fund raising large or small you can drop me a line at: cdlracing@aol.com
Bert

Are there any like minded TVR enthusiasts prepared to make a donation to the team of £100? this would raise funds for the team to continue development of the car and take the race to the porkers. Come on, we all want to see TVR make 2004 Le Mans special.

They could do something like the Dome Judd( i think) and sponser a Square, I'd Chuck them £100 of my best ones.
Although I must admit they would have to have different colour scheme.

How about the "TVR Le Mans 2004" with 2004 donators!

Is there no interest? Is it too much? What would be reasonable £50?

I'm just trying to generate Ideas and support, how about some other suggestions.

How about the 2004 names on the roof of the car? what about that Bert??

I put some ideas on the original thread and emailed Bert as requested.

I'm sure we can all do something.

I Like the idea of the TVR1000 Club or in 2004 as said in the other thread.
Also got to agree that getting the merchandise licence is a must but I have no idea what they cost.
But as said before with the Bentleys gone the marcket for British Cars Supporters is wide open, OK Bentley is a more world renowned Name but TVR is getting there and I Have been surprised that the amount of People I Have spoken to abroad and on Other none car related forums who have actually heared of TVR.
I am sure Ted will have a word at Donnington and work his Merchandising Magic Too,Prehaps??

Prehaps you could have two or three Different Levels of sponsership help.
i.e.

£25 Team Cap/Tshirt. With something else embroided on it to mark the event and Sponsership help.

£50 Same as above and say an Autographed Photo of the Team with Something written at bottom to say about Sponsership,( gotta be different than the Flyers that get given out)

£250 Get to go and meet the team in the Pits Friday and maybe one of the Above.

There just ideas and I think something along them lines gets more people paying in as its more affordable for some.

Just Playing ball with a few ideas

What about something like a lottery ? People could buy shares of lets say 25 GBPs per share and the winner draws a taxi drive around Silverstone during test day of the LMES weekend and special treatment during that weekend. That's my 10 Pence, ehm 25 GBPs. Maybe a combined idea will do the trick, the lottery plus the RfH scheme and T-shirts & collectables... I'm just collecting ideas. I will raise that subject at the "PH in Frankfurt" meeting tomorrow evening. Maybe us Frankfurters can come up with some more ideas.

Colin,

As discussed earlier in the week, I'll catch up with you at Donington at the weekend to discuss in more detail.

Perhaps something along the lines of what we attempted to get off the ground in 2003 might be a good idea.

Having been involved with BT since 1995 he can count me in!!!

Last year a Porsche team had a raffle for sponsorship. The winner got pit access during LM and got to keep the rear spoiler afterwards!

Now that would be a cool coffee table!

Anyone else booked in Maison Blanche again this year? We're normally grouped in the Annexe field behind the 'track' camping section. The red Noble , the Dodge Charger and the Super Samurai 240Z will be returning but the rest of the lads refuse to declare their 'rides' at this stage. It would be good to meet other PHer's - stop in for a beer or three
