Drink lots to get the empty bottles.

Find a piece of flat ground and lay empty bottles down. Feel free to stack them.

Use of substances such as mastic is cheating.

hmm, had trouble with our beer mountain last year... possibly due to being drunk!

but we had to use some mud and sticks to keep the bottom couple of layers together to build up...

unfortuantly it also collapsed just before we left! (oh and sunday night we ran out of bottles and had to drink cans!)

I was just about to say that that looked like one of my photos, when I noticed I was sitting in the background so it can't have been
I think we used a couple of concrete slabs that were lying around so we didn't cheat by using 'brought-in' materials.

Don't try different bottles in tha same wall. Build a wine wall as well as a beer wall
The side support must be strong. All that weight creates large lateral forces.

Wohoo after alot more drinking and a bit of a rebuild we got this

Then people started to get a bit cocky which in the end resulted in destruction
