I've just been looking for ferry prices. Brittany Ferries quoted:- Thursday out - Monday back - Potrsmouth/Cean...£463. Same trip going out 5 days earlier and returning 4 days later.... £250. Rip-off or what?

Try the Eurotunnel on a "5 day trip", I know it's Folkstone-Calais but a lot cheaper... I just plugged in "outward Thurs - return Mon" and it gave me £137.70 (including 10% for being a member).

Been looking since christmas myself and have bulked at the prices, I can't bring myself to pay it, tight get I know, but payed £135 last year for the Portsmouth crossing, this year it starts at around £260 .
However I will have to cough up soon overwise my entry and camping tickets will go to waste .

Harry, thought you were going with TVRCC this year?

Or do they just deal with the race tickets/camping?

Harry, we are all booked out at the moment but if anyone pulls out I'll be posting the tickets on the LM forum.

If a "ferry only" opportunity arises I will let you know.

These tickets will go fast due to the price so keep your eyes peeled!

guys, 5 of you get together. 1 person buys a season ticket with P&O.

this costs £110 per car plus any cabins. this is for Portsmouth to LeHabvre, Caen or Cherbourg.

the beauty is under the t&c's of the season ticket you can allocate up to 5 of the tickets to friends or family.....guess you can see where this is going.

Anyway I did it and it worked......

check the P&O web site

I MIGHT HAVE 1 EXTRA CROSSING LEFT IF ANYBODY WANTS IT

Try going to one port and coming back from another. I'm going to Le Harvre but coming back from Cherbourg - booked 2 weeeks ago for £236. used a travel agent to reduce the agro! Down on the wednesday, back on the monday (from/to Portsmouth).
