Hi,

Due to the general bloody stupidity and non-committal nature of some of my friends, I have an all-inclusive ticket available for Le Mans this year. Basically, it's a ferry from Newhaven-Dieppe on Wednesday 9th June early in the morning, returning on the Monday afternoon ferry, for 1 car and 2 passengers, a Houx Annexe camping ticket and 2 General Admission tickets for the race itself. Total cost is IIRC around £350-380.
Is anyone interested? I won't take any money from anyone now, as I don't have the tickets in my hand, but if anyone wants to take first refusal, please email me.

Cheers,

Chas

PS: It is *possible* there might be 2 packages available, due to the aforementioned stupidity, so if anyone *really* wants both, I'll be quite happy to disappoint one of my friends and let them travel down in our minibus (ie they won't get to drive down)...

Thanks matey!

We're going to miss your side of the group this year... We'll just have to be extra silly to make up for your absence! At least we'll still have Martin and his Europa and (possibly) Joe and Andy in the RS4

Edited to add: Just got an email from SteveH and he's got a couple of other fun motors on his side of things...

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I have *another* spare ticket... Exactly the same as before, ie Wednesday morning Newhaven - Dieppe ferry returning Monday, 2x Houx Annexe camping and 2x Enceinte Generale race tickets. Available for face value of £338. There's an advert in the Classifieds as well...
I will post the tickets directly to you and you are welcome to join us in driving down, either meeting at the ferry or at our early morning start just off the A21 near Tonbridge... I can be more specific with details nearer the time.

Edited to add: The advert is in Classifieds, Non-Motoring, Miscellaneous

Incidentally what Charles didn't mention is the caveat to buying the tickets:

In that the depletion of numbers means that you will be required to assist in the location of a suitable 50 - 60 foot tree to act as a flagpole, drag it back to the campsite and then erect it in the middle of houx annexe.

It is also worthwhile noting that your ears will asaulted for much of the stay by what I am told is new wave metal courtesy of Charles who is into this sort of thing and a word of warning - do not fall asleep next to the campfire. The poor soul who did that last year woke to find his head shaved in a reverse mohican style.

Nope, Paul. I'll pester him again though. I know he was keen, but as I've not heard I suspect he's off snowboarding again or something. Get back to you asap..

Well, thanks... This Tim chap sounded like he wanted the tickets, so to be frank he's got 'em unless things go wrong... I'll keep you informed.

Cheers,

Charles

Edited to add: He's just been off snowboarding? Where are his priorities?
