went with them before, you get a invite into their tent on race day, for a chat from some well known drivers as well, which is nice

Bit expensive for this "benefit" and as I recall their catering prices inside the tent weren't that cheap either - nice toilets though with HOT water (and blue toilet water!!)

I thought it was free, I must of paid for it within the deal without knowing, oh well. (Was great to watch the England match as well before the start of the race)

What I mean is the difference between ferry, entry, grandstand and camping tickets from MRI and buying them direct - quite a bit from what I recall!

I did look into doing it independently (no references to w*nking please)

By the time I'd factored in the hassle + uncertainty of tickets from the ACO, I reckoned MRI was worth it. Especially for 10 heads !

The drivers briefing's they have in their marquee are always good fun - Alan McNish, Perry McCarthy, Johnny Mowlem - it's always very relaxed. Never eaten there, but have use the toilet facilities extensively!

Been with MRI for last 4 years - always find they have space on Maison Blanch for all the cars long after it's reported official camping sold out.

Plus - having flow of beers from camp 5 metres behind you on the exit of the Porsche Curves is handy when the legs don't work so well .....

However - I'm open to advise on when the ACO booking office opens and what's the best way to contact them???

ACO? Never used them, booked through the TVR Car Club recently, good prices and easy to deal with!

I see what you mean, MRI v ACO, I guess MRI is a lot lot easier, but do have a look around, there are cheaper ways of doing it - companies like Just Tickets and Page & Moy go (no idea on their prices, may be even more expensive) and also car clubs get some tickets, but now is the time to compare prices so you are ready for next year
