Wouldnt it be good if you could drive through the tunnel, the noise would be defining and echo for a whole year after!

We are going early Thursday morning (Portsmouth - Cherbourg) and returning on Monday.

Where are you camping Ed? We are in Masion Blanche. Will have to meet up for a beer.

We (Mid Essex TVR region) are in Houx this year!

PH meet sounds good, so will try to make it, but you know what it's like - it all depends on how much happens, and also how much time I spend !

08:00 will be too late.

By 07:30 the main raiding party of 18 cars from Mid Essex will ALREADY be ashore in France and making progress similar to that of our Teutonic cousins circa 1940

There will be little left of quaint little villages after the combined vibration of 18 sets of exhausts as we make 'good progress'.

See you there, or if you can get up earlier, come andd join us

Is that including myself and Drum4it who will be meeting up with you lot on the other side?
Will there be a prize for the highest Mid Essex Vmax?

Ed

If all goes to plan, you & Graham should be on French terra firma before us.
Secure the beachheads and wait for re-inforcements.
We will have been suitably replenished with a hearty breakfast on board our troop ship.

haven't booked yet but its pretty much decided we're going on the thursday, probably at 9am-ish from Dover... though we may stretch to the train this time

interestingly i had a dream about Le Mans last night, a little worrying as our convoy consisted of my Cav and the two MG's plus a mk X Cortina and Land Rover with trailor (don't know anyone with either of these cars) and whilst they were putting the last of the luggage into the Ford and LR i hadn't even started packing then woke up in a mad panic as i couldn't find my passport/camera etc... then realised its 7:20am and i have to go to work, not le mans!!!
