Le Mans remake starring Michel Valliant

Mark B and I were trying to remember when they were filming this at Le Mans. I thought it was last year, he thought a couple or more years ago and I have a sneaking suspicion he's right but can anyone else enlighten us?

It was last year. The film was released this summer/autumn.

Is it any good? Can we got a copy in the UK??? It was 2002, though as Perry McCarthy got to drive that year...
