On the subject of PH meets at LM how about a 'meet up' on Friday Morning on the Mulsanne, a bit like the wedge get together last year,

Just wanted to promte this good idea.
About 10:00am sound good?
If the straight is packed full of police again how about we meet somewhere down by the mulsanne corner?

Or another good place would be the big sports shop that is half way down the straight as it has a large carpark.

Attendees, show yourselves! This year lets try and get a proper daytime meet.
(An evening meet never seems to work due to something called "1664", the number of the beer! (Sorry, another silly Iron Maiden joke there!))

EDITED: Just wanted to say that the meeting point is now on the grass between Arnage and Indinapolis corners. Details in the calendar.

LATEST UPDATE
I'll add this to the initial post so that everyone gets to see it.

The idea now is to meet at your camp site entrance and head of towards the Indy and Arnage corners between 10-11am.

If the circuit is closed then we will meet in the car park of the Decathlon car park, half way down the Mulsanne straight. (if thats closed as well I'll eat my hat!).

If anyone is interested after this we'll try and convoy down the mulsanne and end up South of Le Mans at Chateau du loir (or similar name) for lunch.

If all of the above fails we'll al sit by our own tents getting well and truly bladdered.

There are always lots of Brits parked up at Indianopolis (turn right at the end of the Mulsanne straight) on the Friday morning and there's plenty of parking on the grass alongside the track/road. I'll dig out some photos from last year.

Between Arnage and Indy does sound like an easier idea.
Make sure your PH sticker is on show so we can recognise each other if there is gonna be lots of others!

We'll be there, although it looks like our party of three TVRCC members may only have one TVR between us!

up for a meeting anytime!

how about metting up at the roundabout at the end of the mulsanne straight at 10 then driving - in convoy - into the indianapolis/arnage car park... bound to raise a few eyebrows!!!

look out for one seriously stickered up Cav!!!

Tony we have never made it into a car by 10am at Le Mans in the last decade
I think you will find it was lunchtime at the earliest

Must have been skimping on the beer then, lightweight
The track was OK around 11am, had many a 'lap' stretching the old girls legss now and then bib just watching . Parking at the bottom of the straight was full of Moggies when we pulled up.

Were you with the Vipers in 2002 in Houx Annexe?
I was there with a friend (944 and Aston V8) and there was about 6 Vipers parked together, including a hennessey Viper. It made an amazing site!!!!

With the smokin rear tyres
Hope to make it a bit earlier than last year, got there around mid-day and it was full of Moggies, very nice really. Plod were obliging on the speed front too, smilling most of the time with the crowds .

a) So what was the final decision? 10am? Where?
b) Someone should kick this to the top of the list a week or so before Le Mans so that we all remember.
c) Just changed my tires this past weekend... I'll have new rubber to burn for 2004!
