All booked to go to LeMans in 04 via the TVRCC so no need to worry about sites etc. I'm driving down in the Chimaera, any LeMans essentials we should think about packing?

Corin,
I'm putting together a list of essential stuff to take. The Reverend sent us a great list last year so I'll be adding to it. We've already got a telescopic flag pole for the TVR motorsport flag. It really helps you locate your tent amongst the masses. I'll post it on the Surrey site soon.
Cheers
Karen

Depends really whether your going alone or camping with a larger group,
If your on your own, just go simple, you've not got that much boot space.....
tent
sleeping bags
blow up matress
small radio
chairs
ice box
clothes for all weather situations
and buy food/drink/dispposable BBQ from the local supermarket
If your in a group then the sky's the limit really

Ear plugs, especially if you going to spend any time around the grandstands opposite the pits!

Oh, and if you're not in Houx, your campsite will basically be a field, so take some tape and a few pegs to mark out your territory. Kind of useful when you drive to the supermarket to have a space when you get back!

Great piccy Charles, one of the better ones we have had over the years, but then I think the Biker God at the top was the best (2002)......... Apart from the owner of the leathers being strapped up in hospital and having to do the best part of a thousand miles driving him to and from hospital and back to the Dieppe on the Thursday.........

Another memory for you:

And a fan-overide or otter which cuts in earlier, judging by the amount of coolant I lost while stuck in traffic this year.

Depends if the tunnel at Rouen is open this year... I'm hoping to avoid it if possible..

At least you got the ballistic bannana on it....... I remember your group parked near us, I shoud've introduced myself...

Our flag poles are brought form the woods about a mile away and are towed behind the support truck..... which is entertaining in it's self, especially past the Tetre Rouge pub!

A very large paddling pool 1. to jump in after 4 hours by the track in 95 degree temperatures, and 2. for keeping the beer cold!

That was a particularly good one... You well matey? Well, after all the balls-ups with getting Wavey's video to me via Ash, I have completed digitizing it and am currently editing the best bits to put online, so I'll be bringing the video back next weekend...

Something was bothering me about that pic you posted Mark... There was no Biker God! The pic *is* from 2002 though... Biker God was 2001, as shown here:

There ya go!
