I remember sitting under the awning of the campervan in 2007 on the Sunday morning around breakfast time (I think) the rain was pouring down I had a beer (or two!!!) in hand, Hugh was on Radio LeMans and it was one of the funniest/most memorable times at LeMans - he is one very funny bloke

to add my timings and dates may be incorrect, but I blame this on the lager and lack of sleep

A load of us went for a beer in a country pub and one of the guys happened to mention Hugh was a regular .. and sure enough he came in and talked cars and Le Mans with us over a few pints of beer.

Slagged of our Britis plastic cars .. and then another year was running the Le Mans entries for the same British plastic cars ..

But he really is a great old boy - likes his beer too

I met Hugh at Sebring when he was running the Purple Monster T400's. we just turned up at the truck as a couple of spectators, and virtually became part of the team.. chilling in the truck..
spent a lot of time talking to Hugh and have a lot of time for him...

Even before that I would always listen out for him on radio LM
