le mans advice

I'm heading over to Le Mans over night tonight via Portsmouth-Le Havre. The others in our group are coming from St malo and dover tomorrow morning so had hoped to meet at le mans. unfortunately i've managed to end up holding all the general enclosure passes. Can the others get into le mans without them? If not anyone know of a good meeting point (easy to find with somewhere to have a coffee) north of le mans?

Google Carrefour and le mans, big supermarkets with car parks and you can get your beer at the same time.

Or try googling Mcdonalds or decathlon (cheap camping equipment) both will have car parks to meet up. Have a great time

If you really mean north Le Mans, a good place to meet up could be the Auchon supermarket. It's on the northern outskirts of Le Mans, directly off the old N138. It is just south of the first roundabout after the autoroutes north of Le Mans.

If you're heading south, Auchon is on the left hand side of the road but there is an exit of the right hand carriageway (you're in France remember!) with a car park there for Auchon or you can take the same exit and drive under the N138 to the other side close up to Auchon. Got it? If not, Google maps will help..Auchon is in the Centre Commercial.
