Things you really should do...

Other than the obvious (beer - race - walk - beer - walk - race - walk - more beer), what are the things that you really should make an effort to see / do whilst at LM?

This will be my 3rd trip, but 3 of the others coming along have never been. I'm happy I've done all the best viewing spots, but things like drivers parade, Le Mans town centre on Fri night, the museum (as far as I remember...), we've never bothered with.

So, come on chaps - help me to ensure I'm not missing anything either this time!

Mulsanne straight at night. Last year was my first year and the Mulsanne straight was one of the most amazing things Ive ever done.

The museum is good, either cool if it is baking hot or dry if it rains.

Drivers parade is good, followed by a meal at a restaurant in town but I'm not telling you which is best as it gets too busy already.

St Saturnin is good on Friday morning.

Tartiflette and Grand Marnier crepes are essential.

Get to Arnage just before dawn - an out of body experience as the sun comes up over the forest, morning mist and some noisy gits making a racket in their souped up motors. Unless it's raining, in which case stay in your tent and catch some kip.

'Dressing' for Dinner (like a gentleman, naturally)

Pimms (with ice) for supper on the Saturday evening - just proving that a Gentleman is always prepared.
