Prices seem to be up on this year, at £155 rather than the £130 I paid this year.

This is the cheapo, not refund £30 for an alteration option, but did the job for us

Whats the chunnel like..? This year i could have had either ferry or chunnel ticket for the same cost.

We chose ferry, due to some of the people we travelled with, however i think the reduced travelling time would be a major bonus (ferries bore the t*ts off of me!) and am keen next year to have a crack.

However, i do so love being on the ferries when everyone returns to their cars and we get to hear the numerous performance cars fire up and roar off.... Does this happen on the chunnel...?

I found the chunnel to be excellent, except for the speed bumps on the way in (knock off some baffle and my Tiv sounds like a tractor!), very quick and efficient although a shop for drinks would have been good as we didn't have time to pick anything up on the way down to Ashford.

The atmosphere was fantastic, loads of MGs, TVRs, Jaguars, Ferraris, Loti and various Jap cars in the holding car park, as well as a Lambo turning up later when we were embarking. The chaps who get you parked up had no idea why all the serous hardware there until I explained that we were off to Le Mans!

On the way back in our carriage was a Morgan Aero 8, Ferrari 355, Z3, TT and some others, as it was a Monday late morning crossing lots of cars convened at Coquelles.

Considering the quotes I've had for ferries so far, its the Chunnel again next year..
