Hi

I was wondering if anyone was planning to fly to the classic as I havent done a channel hop yet and fet this could be a good op for one. However as its the first time flying on the continent I fancies tagging along with others if possible.

Thanks

I'll do it one day but not until I've got my IR. Weather's too unpredictable for VFRwink

The drive down is such a part of the whole weekend that it would be a shame to miss it. One of my mates can't get the time off work so he may be flying Stansted to Tours on Friday with Ryanair.

I agree, but Ive driven 3 times now so done that bit, am I am going from Bristol I will be crossing from Plymouth and I dont think there are many people to convoy with at times that work for me.

Plus the novelty of being able to get there in 3 hours from my house is quite tempting.

Flying to the classic would be like:
Sucking a sweet with the wrapper on
Driving the marathon
Nookie without the five play

Driving to Le Mans is like:
Milk and sugar in your coffee,
Apple pie and cream,
Gin and Tonic,
189 mph and a ban with a heavy fine

Ya gotta drive. driving

It's the done thing. All part of the 'thing'
