What to do away from the Grandstands at the Classic

We did the LMC last time and loved it, however I am thinking we barely scratched the surface of the track as we never really left the grandstand area and clubs/displays.
To my mind Friday and Saturday were quiet and the best time to explore the main event again, but Sunday was madness; would this be a good day to go and view the trach from different vantage points and just soak up the racing?? Or are the pits/startline/curves still the place to be regardless??

Usually our weekend starts Friday afternoon when we try to see some of the practice sessions.
Then off to dinner in downtown Le Mans, Saturday bright and early to visit the paddocks, it's almost impossible to visit all the paddocks before the start of the first race.
I then like to watch a few "plateaus" starting from the grandstand, maybe check out the last paddock or 2 that I didn't visit yet and go off to Arnage for dinner at 9.30 or so.
After dinner to Arnage for watching the big Porsches spewing flames from their exhausts and then to Tertre Rouge until it's time to get some sleep.
Sunday I'll just watch from the grandstands or near the Dunlop bridge until it's time to head home.
It's very easy to get around by car during the Classic so do go to Arnage, Tertre Rouge or Mulsanne.

If you didn't get out to the rest of the track, you really should. Indianapolis/Arnage at night are a MUST for any Le Mans weekend, the Mulsanne corner and the following straight are excellent too. If you can make it to Hunadiere or the Chinese on the Mulsanne then that is where you see the cars flat out, but often there is hideous green mesh in the way..
Another good place is the Dunlop bridge round to Tetre Rouge, fabulous viewing and the cars look great through here..
For us, the weekend will likely consist of: Friday, arrive at Hotel and head into circuit for practice, do a round of the corners and head back to the hotel for some refreshments...
Saturday morning, back to the multimarque parking, await our track laps whilst enjoying the others enjoying theirs.. Head to the Paddocks for some eyeballing of cars, head to the grandstand to soak up the atmosphere and see the start of Group 1 with the run across the track.. Then head out to the corners, bit of a stroll etc etc.. Head out for dinner, head into Arnage to catch groups 5 and 6 at night..... WOW!
Sunday, meander into the circuit, do whatever at whatever corners and then head back after the end for a night out in a small French town for fine wine and a few beers
