Cars being towed........

Well another Le Mans has passed and i had a brilliant time......apart from returning to the car on Saturday evening to find the french had towed it away.....
The most ludicrous thing being that the french cars on either side were still there (we're talking hundreds of cars) yet the UK cateram, cobra and jag, along with ourselves were towed off.......
hours of waiting, 4 miles of walking, an hour in the Gendarmerie and a 20 min tram ride and we had the car back.....oh and 100 euros lighter.
This has really left a bitter taste for my mates (le mans newbies) as much as the weekend was amazing, the fact that the french essentilly took advantage of the fact we would have cash and HAD to get our car back. Further more the fact that they left all the french cars frankly took the piss....
Did this happen to anyone else, fantastic otherwise but a real downside to this yrs event..

I have no idea what the road was called to be honest, it was right out of the main entrance, under bridge, left, past the carparks and up to the roundabout to get ont oauto routes. There is a road marked Usines, which goes past an army base where we have parked for years (well since 04) without an issues, along with hundreds of other cars.
They only towed the UK cars and left all of the french, hence it got my goat....

There's loads of parking around the circuit. I don't know the exact place you parked, but of course they will tow you if you park in a non-parking/dangerous space.They only towed the UK cars and left all of the french, hence it got my goat....
Parking Bleu is great for proximity to the entrance at Ford.
