Hi folks,

Apparently, the definition of a stranger is "a friend you haven't met yet".

That's why I'm looking for 3 strangers to help fill our trackside pitch on Maison Blanche at this year's Le Mans.

I've bought two large* pitches on Maison Blanche, to house 12 people in trackside luxury** for the duration of this epic event. Unfortunately, it seems that my estimation of the number of friends who actually like me was a little optimistic. I've only convinved 8 of my mates that they'd like to come. Sob.

Hence, I have room for another 3 fellow petrolheads to join us. Anyone up for it?

You'll get:
- a General Admission ticket each
- room to pitch your tent(s) on a trackside*** pitch on a cracking campsite
- room to park one car on the pitch (between 3 of you)
- regular supply of outsandingly-cooked food, if you'd like to join us for grub****
- shelter in our large marquee, should last year's monsoons return
- 9 new friends to share beer with throughout the weekend!

The camping / tickets package for 12 people cost me £1200. According to my maths, that works out at £100 each.

I'm not looking to make a profit, so the cost to you is £100 each. A bargain, I hope you'll agree!

Conditions: you must be female, blonde and Swedish. Failing that, merely "unlikely to murder us all in our sleep" and "unlikely to encourage my 8*****-year old brother to indulge in mind altering substances" will do fine.

Due to the car limitation - only one spare "parking space" - this would best suit a group of 3 people rather than 3 individuals.

Applications on a post(card) below.

Richard

* - Large = each pitch is 15m x 7m
** - Luxury = marketing term only. Actual luxury not guaranteed. Levels of luxury may go down as well as up
*** - Trackside = "These are the closest pitches to the race track on Maison Blanche" says the guru at 1st Tickets
**** - Food not included in price; we'll all chip in
***** - He's actually really quite old, but I still feel protective. You know how it is.

Absolutely, Nathan - many a beer will be had I'm sure! You'll have to come over for dinner or something; we'll fire up a monster curry. When are you heading out, and where are you staying?

Hi folks,

Due to a daftly-timed holiday, I missed Graham and Mike's replies above... and I think both have sorted themselves tickets elsewhere. (Mike - shout if this isn't the case and you haven't picked up my email from last week)

Therefore, these three spaces are still available. Any takers? Remember... we're trackside! <bounces excitedly>
