crash on way back?

hope who ever was in that crash near roadworks on the way back from le mans today is ok.. barrier crushed but no car to be seen? anyone got any news

yeah saw the same crash, don't know what car it was (British with an 03 plate) but it looked a mess

i also have a sneeky suspicion it may be something quite exotic, like an ultima as it had (the remains of) a one-piece moulded front section

I saw a Renault sommingorother getting hauled up from a field. Le old Bill were less than impressed with a team mate's fast approach!

I think that was north of Rouen heading for Calais.

Looked like a blue new Megane or Avantime to me, seemed like it may have hit the van at the side of the autoroute.

no, i was thinking if it was an ultima someone would know by now, but it did look like it had a one piece front section which is all i could see from driving past...

Two Tivs left Maison Blanche on transporters.

One guy had his rucksack stolen in Le Mans on Friday night, complete with car keys.

Another locked his keys in the boot of a Tuscan. None of us knew (or could find) a back door, so he had to be recovered.

Was that me or someone else with the keys in the boot of their Tuscan (it might have been Devon and Cornwall TVRCC I bumped into on the Sunday morning looking for help). Anyway I succeeded in retrieving my spare keys from the boot (after losing my main keys in a ditch between Arnage and Maison Blanche in the early hours). I had a very good time

Glad to here it worked out all right. BTW - Just because there was a Devon and Cornwall banner doesn't mean it was Devon and Cornwall; only three of the 14 tivs were D&C!

We stopped to help, but they didn't need any or were too embarrassed.

Blue Chimaera 500 - Coil had given up the ghost in the heat.

Thanks to all who offered help including the TVR team transporters who donated a tow rope and the guys in the Griffith who actually stopped and produced what looked like the bible on all TVR faults (very thick book. Having towed the car to the nearest town and found a suitable Land Rover 4.2 coil, it made us a tad late for the ferry which we missed by the matter of a few minutes despite some rather rapid progress by our chauffeurs, the speed of which can be seen in other threads.

I remembered it, but was a bit too hungover to focus on it

We got in to the boot eventually though, and then all I had to do was find my mate who had wandered off in search of breakfast - and didn't those English breakfast bun people rip us all off! €3 for a cup of tea, that is £2 near as damn it.....
