Belt up Ted, some of us couldn't go you know! I'm getting dragged around the Trafford Centre by the missus tomorrow, how crap is that in comparison?

I'm going to the East of England show on Sunday - hmm, let me see, cows, pigs and horses or Le Mans?

Mind you, they do have some tractors there, so something to look forward to!

It's o.k. - those of us planning to pop our Le Mans cherry next year might just see TVR win the GT class - stranger things have happened!

Yeah, sorry, wallowing so deep in self pity I didn't catch that! And just when you thought the weekend couldn't get any worse, they're out. Its no consolations that for those who went the weekend may have lost a bit of its magic.

What's the chances of a four seater TVR convertible before next June - thats the only way I'll get there I think. Wonder how much an XKR converible would be to hire for the weekend?

JK and the gang were cracking as was the whole w/e. The SELOC boys were right at the front. Top marks to the TVR boys for getting into the spirit of the event by turning up in the drivers parade with green hair and TVR cut into their scalp!

I saw the concert - well some of it as I fell asleep for a while due to wear and tear. We were wondering how much it costs to bring on Jamiroquai and decided probably not much as the man seems a proper petrol head and would go to LM anyway. Guess what? I parked up yesterday on Berkeley Square behind a very purple RS6. The Audi people were handing it to no other than Jay Kay himself.

Where the hell was this, the A6 flyers were everywhere, but only mentioned it was at the Audi UK stage.

Pished and sunburnt on Saturday night we started to wander off and find it, but some hooligans kept driving loudly on the circuit and we couldn't hear the gig

It was inside the circuit, south of the village close to camping nord and technoparc.

It was between the Houx campsite and Karting Nord campsites. Admitedly I doubt we would have found it if we hadn't camped in Karting Nord previously.

Basically behind the pits theres a service road that leads under the Bugatti circuit, in the old days you used to walk down that, in recent years thats been declared too dangerous and there is a pedestrian route above. Effectively it leads one parrellel with the track, going anti-clockwise towards the porsche curves.

Along there you'd find the Bentley Hospitality unit, looked as grand as Audis did in previous years , and other hospitality. Anyway was opposite that lot. Was good, although the cars were audible over the concert!
