Houx Annexe - Lotus Europa

Anyone remember the Lotus Europa that destroyed it's rear wheel bearings around the Houx Annexe roundabout......

He has just been asked to join in the parade lap at the beginning of this years race...... Apparently Club Lotus have been tracking down the Mad Lotus Europa driver from last years entertainment at the campsite and usual antics down at Inianapolis/Arnage

Apparently he has given up work as he can't concentrate anymore.........

Bring on 2003, see you all down there, I'm off this Saturday!!!!!

He was down at the Brighton speed trials.
It's Vauxhall powered. I asked him what he uses it for, and he said "driving down to LeMans"!

Genius! Good man! Though I'd heard that "Mad Lotus Europa Driver"(tm) was not 100% sure for travelling down this year... M's able to make it isn't he, Mark?

He's definately going, haven't heard him mention Nitrous before and it wouldn't be so good for the sprints, etc that he enters...... I am very tempted with N2O though and have been for a long time. The car needs to be put back together first though..........

Hold your horses, it's not the parade lap but the drivers parade and the invites from some Lotus club offshoot that passed my car last year on the back of a tow truck! Not much chance of destroying wheel bearings at the speed of the parade , so I might just stick to the Houx roundabout where I will be performing at my normal
times!!

LOL! You may be right... he certainly showed up a few people! (esp. laddo driving the Noble, though I'd've been wary about hooning that aroundthe roundabout). Didn't he get out up the road and get into a wheelchair to watch the fun 'n' games? Am I mixing him up with someone else?

Thanks... We're trying to be more organised this year and get some better video footage to put up. More real idiocy and maybe even some racing... You never know...
