So according to their web site (http://www.kangaroo.tv/) this will be available next year - but didn't some people have them this year?

Any ideas re costs / coverage (eg will it work around track and in MB campsite?)?

Are they any good? and how does it compare to RLM?

I had one this year. They're ace. It just about worked in the far corner of the Houx Annexe. But for walking around track, it was awesome. Until you can bolt a stellite dish on your back and walk around with a 42" plasma, these come highly recommended.

I got it through Rolex hospitality. It cost nothing. Sorry I can't be of more use.

The English language stream on Kangaroo was RLM. They provided Kangaroo with the feed as part of this year's experiment. But my understanding is that they don't expect to roll this out to the average punter as it will be too expensive. It's also only designed to cover the hosp areas and the pits and its battery life is only 6 hours
