Anyone on here know who went in a Black Rolls Royce Phantom - I guess there weren't many of them there? It was going the opposite way to me near Indianapolis on Sunday evening and was very helpful in flashing its headlinghts as I approached - I am sure it was nothing to do with the Gendarmes who were parked on the corner!! Anyway, thanks for the warning but I was half expecting them anyway so was only doing 90kmh just in case.

Twas in MB next door to us - certainly made us chuckle: fair play to him!

It was right next door! Had a couple of looks at it. Awesome wagon. How the heck he got it in and out of MB through that mud I don't know.

Spotted going through the burnout bit next to Karting Nord.

He gave it some welly, but only a bit of tire spin before it wafted off down the road.

We were camped next to him. I think the guy worked for RR, mentioned he was heading to Le Mans for the weekend so they told him to take the development hack eek

It was indeed a develpment car, we had a chat and a sit inside. Really nice bloke. It had a bigger engine, longer wheelbase and top of the line stereo. Chap said it would go for about £650k when on sale yikes

It seemed to cruise through the MB mud unimpeded. In fact, if you've got one lying around it is probably the ideal Le Mans camping transport.

I had a sit inside and a demo of the stereo. Driver I think was the chap who actually designed the stereo install. Very impressive. Subs are built into the floor under your feet.

Nice couple of blokes too. Terribly well spoken of course :-)

It was me! (Just got sent a link to this thread by a colleague of mine)

I am indeed an Electronics Engineer for RR.

Had a superb Le Mans, despite the huge amount of mud and rain!

Did any one else take a pic of us? I must have been photographed over a thousand times, and filmed by pro film crews twice, and yet we've not seen a single pic yet! - I think i'll take my Z32 next year!!!

ps. Anyone who was at the Goodwood festival of speed may well have also seen the car in 'pace car' form!

Couple of pictures, "burn out" in Karting Nord and you followed us (in a 335d) on the friday going past the "sexy car wash" at Tetre Rouge. Once i get off work network I will link them here

I remember you infront of us along the road to Tetre Rouge - nice car the 335d Coupe - I think we were on our way to the DIY carwash near Carrefour... (the Holts car wash wasn't exactly the image i wanted to convey!)

...and as for the 'burn out'... I desperately didnt want to get caught up in that - but it's the quickest way back to Arnage! I deserve a medal for the restrain i showed!

Looking forward to the pics!

Talk about Le Mans spirit - that photo has to be one of the very best on this entire forum! Fantastic effort.

Hasn't JK also got a black one with a killer stereo, he was at Goodwood camping with some mates a few years back (also had his Enzo there as well).
