Does anyone know why the MG Works Team are not competing at Le Mans this year? I see Intersport Racing is running one MG.
And what the hell is this:
19 AUTOMOTIVE DURANGO SRL 82648 / I LM P 900 DURANGO-MG 4000A
Is this anything to do with MG?
Anyway, it's great to see 2 Bentleys, 2 TVRs and Lister back too. Plenty of marques to cheer on!

From what i can gather, The ACO never go into any details as to why they pick certain cars, but some reasons as to why they are not there could be: -
1, They did not compete in the alms last year as a works team.
2, They were not a Sebring as a works team this year. Being at sebring does stand you in good stead for getting into Le Mans
They were aiming to be there! and the durango car is associated to mg by chassis only i believe

Yep, my mistake, you are right it is a durrango chassis with an mg engine (just checked crash.net)
