Has anyone ever stayed here? So far, this is the only campsite that I can find with spaces available, but it's pretty expensive though (£359 per pitch).

Nope - price including Eurotunnel crossing is £525 per car (for up to 4 people), excluding race tickets. The campsite is supposed to be in the middle of the circuit, and apparently has a luxury shower and toilet block, and a bar!

That just sounds like Houx, which would have cost £55 from the TVRCC, so thats quite some mark up
If your prepared to risk it there are usually a few tickets for sale on ebay and the like a bit nearer the date, they will be at a premium but nothing like that

I've heard that they have a piece of land next to the Houx Annexe which they keep out of bounds to people not camping with them. So security should be first class. It does seem pricey (10x normal camping price) - the bar had better be free at that price.

I used Airtrack last year - the facilities are pretty good, but not really worth the amount they charge. Main problem was that their camp-site was in Technoparc which was quite a long walk from the circuit and miles away from any of the other camp-sites. Apparently they are only allocated an actual site a couple of weeks before the event so it's a bit of a lottery where you might end up. Overall I wasnt that impressed with them.

And the TVRCC have stuck on a £35 handling charge!!!!!!!

I remember orgainsing a trip 4 years ago, it worked out at £160 per head, which included Ferry, Race Ticket, Camping Ticket, Fireworks, T Shirt, All the beer you could drink, BBQ which was alite for all 6 days, Van to carry the tents/kit bags etc. Bloody good year too, 96 in our group, 4800 bottles of your best luke warm Kronenbourg - Only two visits to the Supermarket. That'll be 2 pallets of your best ale please!!
Roll on 2003, can't wait.

Last year I got my camping tickets on the forum at www.club-arnage.com

Generally they are sold at face value as the site is for enthusiasts. There is a problem this year as some campsites are scheduled to have buildings built on them so the ACO have limited sales.

Of course if the building hasn't sarted by June then more sites may become available.
