Hi all Le Mans enthusiasts
I would like to meet you at the pub "Aux Portes Du Circuit" which is located just 200 metres from the
main entrance and the Le Mans museum on the left hand side following the main road to the center.
The pub is very popular by UK fans, Jeannine would
like to welcome you all day.
There is also a limited camping yard beside the pub but you should make a reservation. Ask Jeannine Belnou but give my name (Helmut) as a reference! Please give her a call (0033-243.72.6180) but ask a friend to speak French.

Will you be there at PQ ? If TVR really have the guts and compete at LM this year this sounds like a good meeting point.

Hi - I will be at this pub regulary. Definitively Friday 13 from 10pm (live music), but also several times on Saturday and Sunday. If you'r looking to overnight with some TVR's, you should give Jeannine a call to get a confirmation. Please ask somebody to make a reservation in French language. Here is her address: (her son Frank has some English knowledge)

The guy with the Jag was on our campsite last year (Mason Blanche ..) that will teach him to look both ways when joining the road !.

Camping in expo this year too. (355,360,2xM3's,TVR chimp,TVR 400SE)

Does anyone plan to be there at the pre-qualifying in may !!IF!! TVR will venture LM this year (during race week I might be too busy/drunk to have time) ? If yes we can meet at the said premises on saturday evening. Helmut, can you give us the house number of "Aux Portes Du Circuit". Then, I can look it up and know where to go beforehand instead of walking all along Rue de Laigne and still miss it. It's a long road and don't know this pub. Thank you and see you there.

not wishing to be too negative, but IMO, the only TVR's at LM will be in the carparks... TVR aint got the bottle to do as Morgan did, im sure their ultra reliable 6pot engine is good enough ( not! ). anyone remember the LM giant killer that was the speed12 white elephant? TVR at LM ... TVR in the line up... sorry TVR, I have been at the track every year for years and I think we will see Ford Race again before TVR get on the circuit. ( I would have liked to have seen Shorty in the S6 GTO Race.... that would have been something)

Sounds like a good gathering at the Cafe Aux Ports. I will be camping under the cow sheds with my red TVR S3 (with the Morgan lot) 4th year and looking forward to it again.
