how do you join the aco???
Discussion
i want to join the aco club 24 for le mans 2003, i've looked at what it has to offer and basically cheaper tickets with paddock transfers appeals to me!!!
anyway, i was wondering if anyone here were members of the aco, and if so how did you join 'cos i've tried e-mailing them a couple of times through club-arnage and have so far got no reply
i haven't phoned them yet as i'm waiting a couple of days into the new year...
can anyone tell me how they joined, or give me any suggestions on joining? cheers.

If you go to the ACO members building in the village, where they park the old Bentleys up and alongside the new site for the Ferris Wheel. Pick up a "joining leaflet" fill in the details, slap down your credit card and your a paid up member after a bit of rubber-stamping the form. They should give you a temporary pass to let you into the members area (marginally cheaper beer and food here) once you are done. You should get a full membership card within about a month.
As for the other benefits I can't comment. Joined last year, on the Sunday afternoon and am still in the "waiting list" for camping tickets. So as yet it's been £50 or so to save a couple of Euros on a beer and packet of crisps ! You decide. Worth it or not........
