Watched a lot more than I normally would. Great mix of cars and spectator trackside set ups looks incredible. Might have to tick this off sometime.

What I would be all for is getting these to Le Man compliant GT3 regs. Absolutely love these .

Max doing alright also! Should he scratch the Le Mans itch, they d be a lot of orange around the track.

Oh dear…. Chance of the win gone for Max now. Shame, had done well. But that’s endurance racing.

He’d had a partially flying Merc incident and a car veering off just in front of No. 3 so did he/car did have some good luck too.

Good drives in race.

F1 schedule announced way in advance and he’s not so dominant now as to miss an F1 if it clashes with LM as it often does - so maybe he’d wait a few years or possibly he’ll just pop up in AMG GT3. He does have other 24 hours races on his list too and Spa
race has more potential for outright wins at this stage.

N24 is a great event and as some of the commentators were discussing, the campsites are absolutely bonkers, they make LM24 campsites from the 1990s look sterile and boring. I have seen massive speaker system playing Rock me Amadeus, German techno, huge structure with hot tubs, arm chairs and the like along with cinema size screens playing 24hr porn... I was like walking into the Deliverance at times, expecting battling banjos.

Absolutely great atmosphere, the Germans really know how to party.

The racing is great, but seeing it trackside is harder than via TV and internet as you are so close you only see a small section of track.

Go for the track, go for the atmosphere, but seeing the racing is harder.

After 18 Le Mans visits, this was my first N24.

I really enjoyed it, good vibes, good racing. Also well organized by the Germans. The grandstand was closed when it was full at 11.00 and I have to say it felt a lot saver then the last few years at start /finish at Le Mans, they cramp so many people in there.

I walked over to Sabine Schmitz corner and it was a great place to watch the race, but if you continue down the track there is so much camping next to the fence it felt to me they block other people from watching the race from that location.

Yes I am Dutch, but I was not there because Max was racing. I did enjoy the fight on track and I really hoped Kevin Estre would have been in the race longer.

I did not camp this visit, and in some camping area's they really get creative with the terain. I would not really know where to start if I would plan to go camping.

For me it does not replace Le Mans, but it is a great event.

We got back yesterday. 352,000 attended, 500 drivers and 165 cars on the grid. Made lots of new friends, great food and beer too.

Difficult to explain to people who have never been what and event it is. We stayed near the start in a tiny village in an old Hotel that had been turned into Air BnB rooms.

We got on the track at the start and again at the finish, Don't know how that happend.
The racing was incredible.

Would be interesting if any of the SPX class cars could run at Le Man as Garage 56?
