I bought these for 2025 and I'd like to know a little more, the official website is a little confusing in some areas. Also, seemingly there had been some serious changes in '23.

1. I see they mention that "Booking required including for free admission." Surely that doesn't mean I have to book a time for accessing the areas? We usually roam freely during the race, not to mention during practice...I see this "club" as an addition to the experience, but hardly something "special" that I aim for specifically. Does it mean you have to pick between T17 area and La Chapelle area?

2. Location and view from La Chapelle-I found an article about the renovations for 2023-any first hand experience in terms of the views? How is it in reality?

3. How big are the lockers?

4. If entry is free and not a one time booked one, I would fancy an upgraded toilet-we will be in T21 so a short walk to T17 club area. How are the queues and cleanliness compared to the public ones?

5. What is the size, are there areas in the club to sit down at and watch the screens? Is there enough space to chill out for a prolonged period or it's more of a rush with a bunch of people crammed and waiting on you to stand up and leave? As in, is it rude to be there for an hour?

6. Drinks and snacks at preferential rates-how preferential are we talking about?

7. The Georges Durand suite in the grandstand alley presumably allows for members even without the T17 ticket? Not sure of the layout and anatomy of the whole grandstand, I assume T17 has a separate entry once you go further into that blue building.

1. No booking required to visit areas.

2. It’s a nice perspective of the circuit.

3. Only bag drop I know of is at the ACO stand. Left of entrance into building. Think it is shelving and your items get a number tag. You hand items to a person rather than get a locker. Used it once, was efficient.

4. Not much of a queue and generally and much nicer cleanliness.

5. Will vary during the day. Went to the Chapelle area last year. Was pretty busy. Queues for food were long and slow to go down. You will likely be waiting a while to get a bean bag to sit around and watch a screen. Lightweight camping chair probably better to have, but if you have grandstand, probably won’t want to have that also.

6. Quite fair prices. You do get more choice though.

7. Yeah. Grandstand entry is off the members area so you don’t need grandstand ticket for access. It gets busy and can be infuriating in terms of efficiency.

Thank you very much for the clarification! Hopefully others find it useful too.

Excited to enhance the experience with this access. Every year we make it a little different.

I had a ticket for the members areas last year but havent got one this year.

The Chapelle area worked well during the practice days and the cost was worth it for the programme and the bag and reduced priced drinks. When I went there during the race the queues for the bar and food were long and for the toilets even longer.

FOr 2 of us last year was worth doing it, with 6 of us this year I decided against it

Chappelle was much better in 2023 than 2024. I'm hoping that the ACO will bring it back to the same standard as 2023.

the chapelle members area during the race was well oversold, to the point that after a third attempt to visit we gave up and didn't attempt to go back into it on the Sunday as it was just not a relaxing area.. I complained to the ACO and got a refund on the three tix we had for that area. I believe this year the ACO has reduced the numbers of tix a member can purchase for the members area as a way to try to reduce numbers.. so see what happens this year... be curious to see if it gets better but will have to rely on reports back here as I've not bought tix for members area this year..

Agree, it was atrocious this year.

There are three of us in our group so in order to get the third Club access, we had to buy a new membership and this allowed us to get the third person access (albeit with a spare membership). It was either this or only two of us can go in that area and the third person is Billy No-Mates.

I wonder if new members are still allowed to buy Club access now, or is that also sold out? It would be harsh to penalise a new member in this way, but if they don't limit sales in some way, it will be as basic as as this year was.

I can take or leave the areas in general. It was so busy this year, it was possibly quicker to queue at other food places.

Stupid decisions like creating a queue for a bar right at the top of the stairs into the ACO area/grandstand is frustrating as access becomes slow and crowded.

I only bought access for others last year so they could get to nicer toilets as we didn’t get ACO grandstand tickets.

It's sold out. It has been since members day ticketing. They have however introduced passes for members and guests for Test Day and Wednesday and Thursday practice.

That is certainly one of the most stupid decisions the ACO have made in recent years. Let's put a bar right at the top of the stairs where the queue will get in everyone's way, including queueing down the stairs....

It's a bit like the stupidity of having TV monitors at the bottom of the stairs. Sometimes (particularly in inclement weather) you can hardly get through to the stairs from the toilets (and vice versa) due to the muppets standing staring at the monitors...
